Join us at the Lummi Island Grange or via Zoom* to review the Trust’s accomplishments in 2023, share plans for 2024, and enjoy a presentation by longtime naturalist and Burke Museum Curatorial Associate David B. Williams.
What is the story of Puget Sound? David B. Williams will trace the Sound’s human history back more than 12,500 years to its earliest records. He’ll shine a spotlight on overlooked species such as Olympia oysters, rockfish, geoduck, kelp, and herring. Witty and well informed, his story presents a hopeful narrative that will introduce newcomers to the astonishing life that inhabits Puget Sound and offer longtime residents fresh insights into the waters they call home. Mr. Williams will sell and sign books after the event.
