Citizen Scientists Abound
April is Citizen Science Month! A celebration of the amazing people who help contribute to scientific research in your own backyard. You can become a citizen scientist too! We will be celebrating all month long with the Island Library, the Lummi Island Community Association, and SciStarter.org. This doesn't mean citizen science is limited to just the month of April; there are so many interesting projects you can do throughout the year.

On Saturday, April 10 at 10:00 am join us for a webinar about the basics of citizen science and how you can get involved here on Lummi Island. We will highlight three great projects you can start right now, including using the Cleanswell app to record litter and debris you collect from anywhere on the island. Register today!
