Led by Micha Camarillo, Nature Explorers is a Lummi Island Heritage Trust environmental education program that teaches children 6-12 about the island's wild and natural treasures. Kids will explore nature through games, experiments and other activities.
When? Where? For how long?
• August 7th at the Otto Preserve
• August 14th at the Curry Preserve, with a walk to visit Full Bloom Farm
• August 21st at the ferry dock beach
Each session is two hours long, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Important: Locations may vary. After we receive your registration, we'll email you detailed drop-off
information for each day.
Cost:
$20.00 per child for all three sessions, or $7.00 for a single day. Sibling discount of 15% for two or
more children. Scholarships are available based on need, please call 360-758-7997 for details.
How do I sign up?
Please register by filling in this registration form and permission slip and emailing it to outreach@liht.org, mailing it to P.O. Box 158, Lummi Island, WA 98262, or dropping it off at 3560 Sunrise Road.
Note: Please plan on providing your child with sturdy clothing, good walking shoes, and a water bottle. Snacks
will be provided.
