Crab season is coming! Is your gear adequately weighted? Do you have a rot line? A permit?  Do you know when and where to crab around Lummi Island? We can help! Our free Gear Up for Crabbing Workshop is June 10th at 1 p.m. at the Resource Center. Every year, around 12,000 crab pots are lost in Puget Sound, killing approximately 180,000 harvestable crabs. Learn how to minimize your impact on marine life and avoid losing crab pots. Bring your gear! We’ll have all the supplies, tools, and expertise you need. We only do this workshop once per year.
